I have only used them to catch striper on Murray. The lure is a little on the heavy side for a fast action rod so it will throw a country mile. So when I see something feeding on top I can reach the spot at a long distance.
Stripers on Murray are known to rise to their own poo poo, so I had no doubt the darker Fanglures would be awesome under the birds.
