Looking for a spot or two to try out fairly new to fishing any help would be appreciated
We need a little more information. First off, asking for fishing spots on a public forum usually is frowned upon, but you sound young. There’s a bunch of old timers here that enjoy sharing tactics and techniques, but you gotta meet us half way. Tell us what you’ve tried and what has and hasn’t worked.
Are you on foot or fishing from a boat? The Cooper is fairly long. What ramp/ area are you closest to?

There was a young man that posted a picture of a nice spotail near pier bravo at the NWS
The law may run you off if they’re loading ordnance.
