Slow day. Went towards 226 Started in 190’ hooked up to a cow right away. worked out to 400’ found a nice weed line, bait, and flyers everywhere trolled back and forth nothing… Worked out to 500’. started trolling back in and hooked a bull in 400’ packed up at 3:30 and headed in. The best I heard on radio was 5. Was a beautiful day out. A little rough in the morning but laid down nice.

About the same for us but we saw very few flyers. Ended up with a nice cow and two bulls at 20 and 30 lbs. I got a nice report from a friend fishing a little north, 13 phins and a sail. Tried a little bottom and got some nice vermillion and a good scamp with one very nice red. The red was released using a device that released at 50 feet. So no mortality to you guys at SAFMC.

Same kinda day for us. Ocean was beautiful, we trolled around 200 feet and caught two phins. We raised two sails had one hooked briefly, 0 and 2…

Same here … only one dolphin got a ride home yesterday. We zeroed on a double hookup in 320 feet and then picked up a tiny cow on what was an otherwise unproductive weed/trashline in something like 280 feet.
Very slow for us and chatter on radio seemed to indicate a slow day for many. Hope today is better for those that went.

We got 8 nice dolphin and cut off by a wahoo…slow for sure. Sounded like decent fishing early, but died off late morning.
8 nice dolphin, sail and brown fish on way in.
We got 8, 1 skippy, and a sailfish which was my first billfish! Overall though the bite was slow. Lost one nice bull to line breakage. 5 of our fish were at least 20 pounds though which filled up some ziplocs nicely

We also managed 8 nice dolphin, lost something on the planer rod, popped the 130lb braid before I could get to it and loosen the drag. Need more practice with these bridle rigs. Lost planer, bridle, snaps and a Capt Ed wire skirt. Report to come in the morning. Been up since 1. Made the drive from Chapin. 5/25/16

Still a dead red to them. Auto add 30lbs to the total catch for the year.
Are you listening Big Brother?
How about the ones that went Wednesday? Any better or about the same?
