Juvie reds galore

The small creeks are where the under slot reds are hanging out. Lots of fun for the kids on light tackle.

Look for the bigger reds out in the big water or deeper channels next to the grass.

Thanks for the report. We’ll be camping at the coast in a couple weeks & plan on doing a lot of fishing.

The fall bite should be on by the time you get here. It’s an incredible time to be fishing in Charleston.

can’t wait till fall.

I don’t which looks better. The shrimp or the fish? That hook now looks familiar, thanks for the tip.

I like small strong hooks. You can have the smallest hook catch the biggest red without a problem.

Owners are the best, but dang they’re expensive.

3/0 owner light wire is my go-to. Small enough to catch 4in pin fish, strong enough to catch 42in bulls. That’s how I hook em too. I’ll go through the tail in super clear cold water sometimes. Thanks for the report up, 23. :+1:

Can’t wait to get back down. I always wondered what causes more/less spots on a red. Cue Barabawang in 3…2…
