Chilly, Windy and should've stay home

Got to Bushy and wondered should I stay, or should I go? Started a few hundred feet from the landing and the wind was doing its windy thing (Blowing). Off to a hide out with no luck and moved on to no avail. Took off to my last spot and wondered as the chill was telling me to head in but I fought thru until I got to my river. Slow and nothing at all with the topwater so I decided to throw a MM that I had for a while and managed a 20" Red but decided to go to my personal assassin (pearl swimbait); throwed into a cove and didn’t feel the strike but started dragging something and after a while I felt a few head shakes, setup the net and managed an 18" thick flounder. Tried for those trouts but packed it in and headed to the hill. Spoke with a reader of the forum whom too said no trouts for him but in previous outings couldn’t keep them off the hook. Another good chilly day on the water.

Not bad for a windy day. Especially the flounder!

Not every day you get to meet a legend! Thanks for the conversation and hope to see you soon!
