Recommendations for boat covers

New to Charleston fishing and wanted to say hello I was reaching out about purchasing a boat cover for kw244cc with some research found Laporte local and good reviews any one recommend them or has done business with them in the past thanks

I’ve had a Laporte cover for my key west since 2016, it’s still hanging in there.

Thanks really appreciate the feedback will look into it a little harder quality being the biggest thing + fit with the windless on top of bow and roller

I’ve used Carvers on my my last 3 boats. Made in SC. Landrum, IIRC?

I’ve heard nothing but good things about LaPortes, too. Another great local business. Probably able to do more custom work.

Welcome to the site!

Cant go wrong with these suggestions

No question, LaPorte is the solution. Mine is 16+ years old.

When I sold my last boat a Laporte cover went with the boat. I don’t recall how old it was exactly, but at least 12 years old, and aside from some fading it was still structurally sound with no rips at the seams or tears in the material. The kicker was that it spent most of its life at Edisto sitting under live oaks.

They make good stuff, but as you already know they are proud of them, and rightfully so.

Thanks again sitting under live oaks and yes they are proud of them but if the quality matches the $$$ and what everyone else is saying it does I don’t think I would be making a poor decision
