I got tired of trying to monitor Steve’s Lures to buy Paul Browns so I decided to make my own. It’s taken me about 4 weeks and it’s not perfect but I finally have a process that is consistently producing. I’ll post more colors this weekend….and yes I used a 3D printed mold!
how’d you get the rattler in there?
small rubberband
I think I’ve got the design where I want it. Does anyone know a company that can CNC an aluminum mold?
Got my mold. They come out perfect! You can see how many iterations it took…this work is very challenging but the 3D printer made it possible to learn from my mistakes
Does this one rattle?
Looking great!!
Looks really good and professional.
This is so cool!
If you need more molds I can get them done on the cheap. I get a lot of CNC work done and have a few great shops that we work with.
Thanks @snickers ! I’ll be in touch. I’m fighting deflection with my current mold. I have to hold pressure several minutes to avoid it. It appears that I need more venting. Let me know if you have any thoughts.
Making progress with the dotting brush. The orange and chartreuse are really for an air brush gun. But putting those colors on top of white really pop! Almost looks as bright as an LED!
I’ve been working like a chain gang convict for about the same pay, but I intend to give your lures a good workout reel* soon.
This week my psoas is in full revolt, but I got a plan for when the weather breaks.
They look great
