Set out to fish Daytona with Cpt Lemmon whom I’d fished with eight years ago and he didn’t let me down. One heck of a trout let me know it was not my day to photo him, her, it. Fought it for quite a while and busted the line at the hook. Cpt Lemmon was certain it was a big trout and I’m still wondering. Either way what a great trip.

2 hands is an under statement holding on to the rod
Listen to the Wife; it’s enjoyable at least for me
Live bait? Those are some studs!
I lost a gator trout on the Cape Fear two years ago fishing MR17. Early winter. Single hook hanging on the lip skin. Easily 8lb. I didn’t have net ready. Still kicking myself!!!
We netted a few small crab swimming in trash break pinchers and casted to blow ups or let them drift but kept them on top of the water as if they were swimming, otherwise your wasting your time. Every cast was a Hog and hold on to your rod.
