That website isn’t making sense. That website’s chart shows Friday as calm, and the map as Victory at Sea conditions. I would assume that website has their map off by 24 hours considering that every other forecasting tool i have disagrees with it. Yes the window is small, but it’s there.
Doesn’t look that sporty out there right now hope it lays down for everyone’s ride out and back in good luck!!

PLease tell us how your trip went! In Kuwait on deployment and like hearing about what the fishery is doing while I’m away. Hope to get out the 3rd week of April for so last min Wahoo and Mahi.

Fwiw, all these weather sites use the same raw data. Occasionally ive seen reliable websites glitch. Just like the stock market, it’s best to diversify.

We were back at the dock by 2 with a box of bottom fish. Fished in 80 feet. It was flat.
We fished in 80’ as well and it was flat as could be. Anyone do any good on the troll?

You could not of asked for better conditions for trolling yesterday except the fish did not show up. I talk to many boats that did not even get a knock down. We had two Bonita and a large rainbow runner, trolling from just north of the deli to the top of Edisto bank. Thank God for bottom fish. I believe only five fish were weighed yesterday for the wahoo tournament

The roughest part of our ride was the harbor in the afternoon. My conclusion for slow trolling was to many baby blackfin and other bait. If you went out pulling small stealth presentation for blackfin you could probably load the boat on 5 to 10lb fish.
Trolling was not good around us either. All we had was Albies.
We caught 4 nice blackfin. Water was cold north of the hole, tried to find a wahoo with no luck.
Funny day out there Fri with cold green water.
