Sounds like a dumb rule to me
What is the reasoning behind it?
How was this marlin mutilated?
Shark bite killed it, and stress.
It was a mud dart, they landed it dead.
The rules say to get the big money the fish must be landed without the aid of the prop, a shark, a keelhaul, or anything else.
It must be landed 100% intact to win the big prize.
…as well it should be in my opinion, I mean it’s a million dollars if you can do it like a boss, if not it’s a loss
Happened last year too, my next door neighbor was the guy that fought the DQ’d fish last year.
Do you remember that marlin mount someone gave me a while back on here? We took a router and gouged out a big hunk of its belly and hung it on his shop, lol.
