You need to make Katie a wahoo matt like we did for her first sail.
I thought about that. I was going frame the Twitch we caught it on along with a couple of pictures, but unfortunately we lost the bait about 5 minutes later to another fish. We were 8 for 14. Not bad for a 6 hour trip.

Are you in the gulf?
Yup.
Need me to bring you anything? Coon pop? Cajun Yap?
Got a buddy with a house boat/barge/whatever those things are in Vence LA. We are wanting to head that way next year so take some extra special notes and give me a shout when you get back. Would be nice to have a “guide” ride down with us. Maybe we can get a big group. I want to catch one of these #100+ YFTs i keep hearing about. Nice hoo by the way.

Daniel I just mailed some cd’s to the guys that asked, email a address and i’ll send you one. I’m not shuttlefly trained yet, maybe alex can help me.
If I live in a area like IOP, I’d be thankful the the officers are checking out those a little suspicious. After some polite conversation and appology on my part, the officer used the discression at his disposal and allowed me to fish without a large ticket he could have written me. Thank you sir! My bad.
Some more pics from the day.
Man, i love it when there lit up!
We just followed this guy around and caught fish all day. JK, D says he can’t catch fish behing him cause he sucks up all the fish:stuck_out_tongue:
Runey, w/o you near me on the water, i am lost. as i couldn’t pick up your broadcast, i was not quite sure where i was or where to go. guess i was confused. maybe you can help… we started on the 434, fished to the 468.2 on the ledge, out to the 410 where we found some bait, then chased the skippies to the north and lost thems at the 352.3. then we headed to the east and fished the mike runey aggresalicous edge. caught a little guy and found a school of 216 peanuts, but alex told us they were too small to keep. they looked hungry, so we shared some of our ballyhoo and left them to grow another day. then i got scared that we had gone to far for a bayboat, so we headed back, found the skippies, followed them for a few, jumped the hebi, and finished the day on some jetsam at the 376.5.
thanks for the photos, see if alex can teach how to sfly. i need to get one of those cameras. how much is a cheap dig SLR that still takes good instant photos? i had a blast taking those shots from the top.
It’s refreshing to see that D doesn’t mind sharing exactly where we fished with all. You can get a D40 and an OK lense for about 1K, what i used wed was about 2K. They don’t like NaClH2O at all, don’t recommend them for rough conditions, but days like this were ment for it. Here’s the big one that Hank had on briefly, ■■■■ big fish
