Fogman, I once had three over 12 lbs. at that spot in 4 days of fishing. I thought I had them figured out and caught them there for about a month. Then they must have headed on down the lake and, back then, I had no idea how to fish for them.
I’m trying to wait patiently for the water to clear up some so that I can catch some more big perch and bass. They refuse to cooperate in the muddy conditions. Until then I’ll just have to be content winding in stripers. There are still a few good ones in my area and I’ve found a crankbait that they seem to like.
