A good post is where all the lurkers can poach info and not have to add a question or comment. Or anything involving Penn reels, paying for overpriced gear to support local though your buying a foreign product. There is also validating others like posting that you fish the same line or gear as everyone else as well as the same spot. So if u could post about a Ariel rod, Penn reel, fishing the grillage or using high prices 20 to 30lb mono u could have a good post.

You’d be surprised at the amount of reds and flounder that get “landlocked” in areas restricted to the public. I’ve actually thrown a few over a dike to give them the opportunity for the ocean. (never Flounder)

Remember chef Paul Prudhomme and the craze he made for Cajun Blackened redfish? Back in the 80’s he made the Red fish a huge cash cow for commercial fishing in Louisiana and Mississippi. I helped catch a few commercially, besides the many Caught in the late 90’s due to a very unique job with lots of extra time and a boat kept in Beaufort.
One thing that I’ll never do is purposely deceive anyone on this sight on what bait I use or any other detail. Not that anyone would stoop so low…
