You must have REALLY tall tuna tower. Or a helicopter…

You would’ve continued to sit there and fish?

Some of the people that use the floating docks here for fishing and crabbing will not yield to boaters trying to put in. A pretty common occurrence. The other day I wanted to use the top outside ramp because of the way the tide was racing out. The fisherman using this ramp for his fishing was clearly unhappy about my decision and huffed and puffed about it as he reeled in his 3 lines to make way for the trailer, but I still had to step over him and his gear to pull the truck out and all. My point is that sometimes, it takes an exploding boat to clear the dock of some of these few unfriendly fisherman.
No. I would not have continued to sit there and fish.
Thank you.

Unfortunately, courtesy and common sense aren’t really that common anymore. Thank you for a well-written response.

Never been there but, from the looks if it, there is a FISHING pier. People should not be able to impede boaters trying to launch or recover boats. I have dealt with that at Shem Creek before and it is annoying as heck.

That’s what I figured…told my wife the guy didn’t turn on the blower to vent the gas vapors.
