When you throttle up and suck up all that mud and sand into your motor, that can’t be good can it. I used to use that landing all the time, but I got stuck about 50 ft. from the dock coming in and that was enough for me. I really wish they would do something, cause its a great location.

Our problem is not the boat landing. SC DNR and Berkeley County have provided us with a wonderful landing and should be commended for it. The problem is water depth. SC DNR and Berkeley County’s responseblities end at the bottom of the ramp Water depth is controlled by the U.S Army Corps of Engineers, when contacting public officials be sure to explain the difference or they will pass the buck, as did Congressman Brown.
And who did you contact for your expertise? Army corp of Eng was contacted.
