Vinman - I see where you are looking at a DLV 178. I have one that I am selling. I’d be happy to answer any questions I can about them. Likes. Dislikes. Please don’t hesitate to ask. 843.367.1474

If I can sell my 215CC Triumph, I’m looking at doing exactly what you’re doing. I love the easy clean up and almost indestructible hull on my boat. I’ve been looking at the Carolina Skiffs and Sundance Boats but also have been thinking about the Triumph 17 Skiff? Have you looked at one? I’m thinking that just might be the ticket.

I looked at them on line. Can’t afford a new one.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TRIUMPHS! Unfortunately I bought mine before I got heavy into fishing, and it didn’t suit the needs of what I’ve come to enjoy as an angler. Expect a fair amount of hesitance, mainly out of ignorance of what a Triumph boat is and the benefits you get from one.
If you need a testimonial for someone, let me know. With closures as they are, someone who likes offshore and inshore fishing both would benefit greatly from a 215CC.

I would look at the Key West Skiffs they put the fuel tank under deck and also have a little V for better ride
Thanks for the testimonial offer Vinman, I may take you up on it if needed. I love them too just thinking a plastic skiff would be almost indestructable which would be great around the oyster beds. Keep us posted on what you decide and how it’s working out.
