I agree with Capt Larry, as my Daddy used to say “son, a pistol is like a tourniquet, you can go your whole life and never need one. But-- when you do you need it right then to save your life”! Ya’ll need to remember General Albert Sidney Johnston who died at the battle of Shiloh for the lack of a tourniquet! I did 28 years in the Army and saw two wars. I feel just a little undressed without a hand gun. Just me 2cents worth.

Me too, sir, and thank you for those 28 years. I haven’t gone anywhere unarmed since the Vietnam war, (one was enough for me) and ain’t planning on starting tomorrow, I don’t care how many laws they pass :smiley: But to each their own.

Do you think the lowcountry thugs, pushers and gang-bangers have such in-depth discussions about the legality of carrying a handgun and the nuances of when and where it is legal? This discussion shows the absurdity of “we need more gun laws” as it shows law abiding citizens going to great lengths to understand the often conflicting gun laws. And the thugs???

Well… since you asked. The thugs have a discussion about where to get FREE guns.

A recent thread on here from some guy crying about his gun(s) being stolen from his truck for example. Thugs don’t shop for guns at gun stores. They just take YOURS!

And before you comment. I’m pro gun. I’m also, anti dumbazz. :wink:

Never in my life have i ever needed a gun on a boat, but there is always that first time. I put mine in the center console, just because thats the driest place. I conceal it going to and from. I dont want everyone knowing i have it. Everybody should get a CWP. It may save your life or your families one day. Be safe not sorry!
