Covid Vaccine, y'all in or out?

Dumb-ass individuals, such as you, need to stop with the misinformation. If you don’t want the vaccine, that’s fine, but you’re spreading complete lies.

Happy Father’s Day

A Texas man who thought vaccines were “poison” died from COVID-19 after spending 17 days in hospital on a ventilator.

Alan Scott Lanoix, a father of three boys from Katy, Texas, was too afraid to get a coronavirus shot and believed he had some level of immunity after he was exposed to the virus at work, according to 4WWL TV.

The 54-year-old tested positive in late May and became very unwell with COVID-19 and eventually died on June 9. His sons had to bury him on Father’s Day, the local broadcaster reported.

His sister, Lisa Adler, is now urging others who are also “on the fence” about getting vaccinated to get a shot in her brother’s memory, she told the local broadcaster.

The death rate from COVID-19 in the U.S. is rising steadily for the first time in months as the nation grapples with a renewed burst of cases in what’s become “a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday.

The seven-day average of new cases has increased by nearly 70% to almost 30,000 per day; hospitalizations are up 36%. And deaths from the virus have risen steadily in recent days, reversing a months-long downward trend that began in mid-January.

Thanks for posting that Bay. And the media gave Trump heck after twisting his statements?! No twisting needed for what Biden and Harris stated, but the media gives them a free pass.

so understanding this covid thing and people going to the hospitall… 40% getting hospitalized have been double jabbed. No vaccine for me … Yet. Let’s get it out of the emergency stage 1 trial period and stage 3 approval.

Sure would be amazing if our Government put so much emphasis and money on Cancer, Aids, Herpes, birth defects, abortion, Heart dieses, and so many other major killers in our society as they are on this man made and released Corona crap.

“There is a clear message that is coming through: This is becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s director, said at a Friday briefing of the White House COVID-19 Response Team. “Our biggest concern is we are going to continue to see preventable cases, hospitalizations and sadly deaths among the unvaccinated.”

The upward trend in national statistics is being driven almost entirely by outbreaks in places with low vaccination rates, such as the Ozarks, Florida and parts of the Mountain West. Some counties, especially in Missouri and Arkansas, are recording more cases now than they did during the winter.

“Unvaccinated Americans account for virtually all recent COVID-19 hospitalizations and deaths,” said Jeff Zients, the White House COVID-19 response coordinator. “Each COVID-19 death is tragic, and those happening now are even more tragic because they are preventable.”

4,115,859 people have died so far from the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak as of July 20, 2021, 12:26 GMT.

(CNN)Twitter on Monday evening temporarily suspended Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene after she shared misinformation about Covid-19 and vaccines, a company spokesperson told CNN.

The Georgia Republican, who has a track record of incendiary rhetoric, will not be able to tweet for 12 hours due to Twitter’s policy against people who repeatedly share misinformation.
The social media platform had labeled two tweets from Greene as “misleading” in recent days. If she continues to share misinformation about Covid-19 through her Twitter account, Greene could be suspended from the platform permanently.

“I am urging all Americans to help slow the spread of health misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond,” US Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy wrote in a 22-page advisory released last week. “Health misinformation is a serious threat to public health. It can cause confusion, sow mistrust, harm people’s health, and undermine public health efforts. Limiting the spread of health misinformation is a moral and civic imperative that will require a whole-of-society effort.”

Bob

Dude, come on. out of those 4 million you really don’t believe all died because of covide, do you? Covid may have been present, but it was the Cancer, Heart disease, trauma, or just plain old age that did the killing in the majority of those numbers. Just do a tiny bit of research and you’ll quickly find this so. How many kids get it? and now they want 2 year olds to wear masks?!! It’s such a relief and pleasure to see peoples faces again instead of hidden behind a mask.

A wise man is not wise if he does not take advice and know how to interpret it.

Just got a very compelling letter from the VA yesterday urging me to get the vaccine. Like I’ve always stated, when it hits stage 3 fda approval I may get it. Not sure all the pizzing about people that choose not to get it. If your vaccinated, don’t worry about me, your safe. If you get the vaccine you can’t get Covide. ~~

Get vaccinated, especially if you’re at risk, like a prior heart attack or stroke*

Experts have a simple answer for heart and stroke patients questioning whether they should get a COVID-19 vaccination. That answer: yes.

“People with all kinds of cardiovascular risk factors and disease should definitely get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families from COVID-19,” said Dr. Mitchell Elkind, a professor of neurology and epidemiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York City.

The Food and Drug Administration-approved vaccines pose no special problems for such patients, said Elkind, who also is president of the American Heart Association. The AHA issued a statement Friday encouraging people with cardiovascular risk factors, heart disease or a history of heart attack or stroke to get vaccinated “as soon as possible.” Getting vaccinated is especially important for them, Elkind said, because people with such underlying conditions have a higher chance of developing complications from COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus.

“People with heart disease or stroke – or for that matter, risk factors for heart disease and stroke – are at much greater risk from the virus than they are from the vaccine,” he said.

Misinformation abounds about vaccines, which makes it essential for people to seek trustworthy sources for facts. The best authority will be a primary care provider, cardiologist, pharmacist or other medical professional, Vardeny said. “They’re going to have accurate and up-to-date information, and they’re going to be able to steer you in the direction of information that’s truthful.”

Polly, all differences aside, I do appreciate your fervor for getting everyone vaccinated. My family doctor (not my va primary doc, he wants me to get it) actually advised against it right now due to my heart disease.

I’m sure I’m getting to be as broken of a record as yourself only on the other side of this, but no way will I consider getting the vaccine until it hits stage 3 fda approval which on an average takes four years of study to make sure vaccine is safe!

The misinformation being spread is the lack of communication / transparency to let people choose for themselves to take a phase 1 emergency trial vaccine! The Media is even pushing this phase one crap on children!! I know what the Government did to me and a few others in 1991 with the first experimental Anthrax vaccine. No sir, not getting it now, if ever.

A step-by-step breakdown of the FDA’s drug approval process
Preclinical phase. Before a drug company can test an experimental treatment on humans, it must prove the drug is safe and effective in animals. …
Phase one clinical trial. …
Phase two clinical trial. …
Phase three clinical trial. …
New drug application.

Oh yea, don’t forget about stage four… that’s used to follow the drug/vaccine for Long term effects.

Why did your doc advise against it? That sounds like a quack doctor to me, never heard of such nonsense!

People with underlying medical conditions are starting to get the COVID-19 vaccine. But is the vaccine safe for people with heart disease or cardiovascular risk factors?

Here Dr. Antonio Abbate, a heart specialist with the VCU Health Pauley Heart Center, answers your questions about the safety and efficacy of the COVID-19 vaccine for heart patients.

Dr. Antonio Abbate
I’m nervous about vaccines. Are the COVID-19 vaccines truly effective? They were developed in less than a year.
As a heart patient, you should have no concerns about the speed with which the vaccines were developed. The Pfizer-Biontech, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines were tested on a very large number of patients and shown to be safe and effective. Heart disease and stroke medical experts urge the public to get the COVID-19 vaccinations.

Are the vaccines safe for people with a history of heart disease, heart attack or cardiovascular risk factors?
Not only are the vaccines safe for people with a history of heart disease, they are essential. People with heart disease are at increased risk of severe complications from COVID-19.

In particular, people with cardiovascular risk factors, heart disease, and heart attack and stroke survivors should get vaccinated as soon as possible because they are at much greater risk from the virus than they are from the vaccine.”
