Please take me sometime to be with your Mom and Dad from “can to can’t”…I promise I will not speak a word…not a word…I will see and hear what love looks and sounds like.
Fantastic as always Penn. Those sunrise shots are simply stunning. Only God could paint like that. I always look forward to your stories, errr . . . reports!! Keep 'em coming.
Tomorow morning I will be with my daddy once again pulling pots and moving them…thanks for all of your kind words…and not minding me sharing how being there makes me feel. . Hugz to all of you my friends…and have a safe and Blessed weekend.
Remember our soldiers past and present…and all they have sacrificed, stood and fought for! God Bless Them!
Great advice Joe. I spent the afternoon with my Dad he will be 90 in October. Memorial day is a day of remembrance for those who have fallen. Dad’s parents sent three young men to WWII my Dad was the only son that made it back home. Sad that they young folks don’t understand the sacrifices those guys of the greatest generation made for our freedom.

my daddy served also…in the navy. he said he was a short timer…only a few years…but served. I went to a graduation and they asked all of the folks who had ever served to stand up…and when my daddy stood up my heart was about to burst. Funny how I dont think of him as ever being a military man…it makes me proud…but he has always been “just my daddy”…and that makes me even prouder
