Dang, this sucks regarding the Oceangate dive

I hadn’t heard bad info about the oxygen time. The info on the tapping noises continues to be interesting.

I’m sure the Navy, and possibly the CG, has all kinds of tech that isn’t publicly known. If they tell to much the bad guys can figure it out. It’s possible that they had all the details before, when and after it happened.

From what I’m hearing about the “tapping” noises, they are just routine noises, from the corrosion of what’s left of the hull of the Titanic?

I only see “death” twice… but still.

Could you imagine a passenger that had some taco bell bean burritos the night before!! or better yet a good old home made sweet potato pie?

One could buy lots of photos of the titanic for 1/4 mil with no risk. Now who is footing the bill for the search? And now there’s talk of an investigation &$$$$$$

If anyone (besides the reckless CEO) had done their due diligence (simple Google searches), they would have found negative stories and stories of poor safety, lack of testing/certification and MIGHT have seen the whole thing for what it was and might still be alive today. All the $ in the world and you can still be stupid.

I saw where a female Deep-Water Engineer even told the guy that the carbon fiber, he was using was totally wrong for that environment. I guess she wasn’t inspirational enough.

Sad but completely avoidable.
