Skinneej, ask any old Shrimper and he/she will tell you it is the start of the their migration to the ocean. DNR had a seminar years ago and they said there is no scientific evidence to support this as shrimp seldom “walk” during migration, but rather swim using their tail.
I went with a friend right after the “1000” year rain and about a 1/4 of the shrimp had “red” legs. I asked him about it and he just chuckled and said it means we have shrimp to sell.
