Winter is one of the best times to fish. You can also target sheepshead.

Speaking of sheeps…any body been out to try them lately?? I like fishing in the late fall/winter because there are less people out and you can still catch fish. Plus, fishing is fun, catching is better, but you can’t beat just being out there!!

Caught about 10 heads on Saturday. Inshore on the Wando. Oysters and fids on circles. Not much size to them but fiesty as always. Sheeps are inshore and biting year round.

They are fighters for sure…Don’t the big guys go deeper this time of year?? I know that you guys catch them in the Charleston area year 'round…and in G-Town too…

Inshore fishing is good in the winter…but not quite the same when you can’t take off your shirt and the cold beer doesn’t taste so great bc you can’t feel your lips…

Four hour trout/red trips can be a lot of fun though.
