Here is one other option. Baycraft is in Deland,FL. Maybe not the finish and details of a Maverick or Egret but a lot of boat for the money. I also second the East Cape boats.

I second East Cape and also inshore power boats. Those are sweet rigs. Im with Graham I will own a Caimen one day. Sickest rig ive seen

Your Dad said he would buy you one
Now I’m gonna get a :face_with_head_bandage:

2000 SeaPro 180CC w/ Yammy 115 2 stroke
1966 13’ Boston Whaler w/ Merc 25 4 stroke “Flatty”

ECC looks nice. I ended up not making a purchase. Around this time a friend that I fish with ended up buying a Sterling 180TS. I’ve been fishing this thing regularly and it is badazz. It’s not a 6" boat, but very comfy in 10-12". Those East Capes still grab my eye.

it is my understanding that the East Cape’s, though great in very shallow water, are not very practical for around here, as they are very wet and beat the day lights out of you in anything but calm conditions.

that was second info, it would be nice to hear an owner’s comment since there are a couple here, please?

second ‘hand’ info

Bulls Bay 151 with Yamaha 50 four stroke, galvanized trailer are around 14K new.

Caimen rides terrifically. Its a great boat for around here if you’re looking at small skiff (2-3 person). Again, I would own one in a heartbeat if I didnt need the extra capacity and stability of the lostmen. The lostmen is virtually a flat bottom skiff so, yeah it is wet and uncomfortable in chop but gets into the shallows unlike anything you’ve ever seen. It all depends on how and where you like to fish.
