The water temp was 75 to 78. Tons of flyers and tons of birds. Scattered weeds and a few pallets. Fish ranged in weight from slingers to close to 45.

45?

BigEasy where were you on Friday? Figured you and split would have dusted the cats off and been out for some early season action by now.

Nice fish guys! Question, why is the port motor trimmed up in that one pic?

That was my first guess.

Also I have heard alot of good stuff about accurates. What do you think of yours? That is some nice bling, bling!:sunglasses:

Its a friends venture he lets me ride all i have to do is show upearly put the boat together, rig baits, and make sure we catch fish.
The accurates are sweet. We were fishing tld 25’s for our small reels and changed to accurate 12 and 50 internationals to the 50 accurates they dont compare. And the rods they are on are black bart custom rods they are great too.

I stand corrected. Very nice pictures. Good day; that’s a very nice bull for Chucktown. The mosquito fleet will be out in full force next Hasselhoff day.

I’m back and I’ve promised to behave this time.

It won’t be long. We’re making final preparations now. Those pics have speeded me up a bit.

Should have saved that fish for a tournament. Quite a few tournaments would have paid you money for a fish that big last year. Nice findings. I’m also suprised that nobody commended you for the head shot on the gaff to minimize damage to the fillets. Unfortunately though, EF won’t get a sammich out of that part.

What was in the fishes tummies?

hey peyton let me know when u come back to charleston

You can tune a piano but can you tuna fish…

Pro tip: Head shots are great but require not only superb gaffing skills, but a good boat driver to position the fish for the shot.:smiley:

Good to know. Yes, out pretty close to batesburg right? We went on a couple of early season shoots when it was hot outside. Did the birds ever pick up hot and heavy out there later in the season?

They said they had a few good shoots we only shot there a few times early in the season i had a great field behind my house and was in another club that had birds everyweekend. Did u make it to the cook out the last day?
