Gas in the bilge

If you use a portable on deck tank for the short term fill the old tank with water and soap to reduce vapors.

JB WELD worked just fine. Filled tank to capacity and sat boat in yard ALL day Saturday. Bow as far up as possible, as fas low as possible, tilted to the left, tilted to the right, ran motor as well during trial. Today we hit the water. All seems fine.

If you have two pin holes, you likely have quite a few more pits working no becoming pin holes. Gasoline vapors in an enclosed space can get rather exciting rather quickly. If it were my boat, I would not use it until I was able to replace that tank… not even with a portable tank. You cannot get the built-in tank completely clean and safe, in my opinion.
