Nikon, that’s not German Shephard, but good guess. It’s got a sprig of a long bucktail to start the tail, then some badger for the the lighter colored stuff and the dark would be a wild animal that roams the American West… I’ve tied flies with it before and put them up on this board, but this time I’ll be secretive since its my next get rich quick scheme. 
I may try German Shephard though, when I started out tying flies as a 10 year old, I used to brush out our Border Collies and make black and white streamers. Wish I still had those flies. I also had a lady friend who had me clip off hair from her Golden Doodle and tie clousers with it. That’s some wavy, weird hair
