I’ll bet there was a lot of overly obese people pissed off that he took up all of those up front parking spots. I’ll bet they drove around for 30 minutes waiting for him to leave…
If that’s all you have to be pissed about you got a fine, fine life.
Mt Pleasant is the most unfriendly place to me for trailering. You would think a sea town would be sympathetic to the casual boater and his trailer, and not build such ridiculous parking lots with more trees than parks.
I guess the people calling the shots around there all have their boats dry stacked, and expect everyone else to show up at the market in their BMW, and carry the groceries up to the slip of their freshly dropped, fully fueled/iced water chariot.

Why does someone carry a bicycle in a boat?
Is it a just in case solution?

My BP didn't rise a notch. It was early Sunday morning, I was running errands with a cup of coffee and went to grab my phone to take a pic. Realized I forgot it, ran home to grab it - cause you can't be without your phone for an hour or two, Heaven Forbid! - and went back to continue my errands.

And I would have pulled parallel and right beside his truck and parked.
And the driver did not have gastric distress as I saw him place stuff in the truck and go back to another shop.
Bottom line, some folks on cf.com find some humor in pointing out the inconsiderate among us, some don’t. So be it.

I’m guessing its for the same reason I believe you should get a free dog whenever you buy a Dodge. At least you have a companion to walk home with.
the boat is loaded up like they are going camping or vacation or something…I’ve put my bike in the boat many times…beach cruisin…

Only bike I’m putting in my boat is a motor bike! Ain’t no pedaling on sand, in my foreseeable future:wink:
I’m with ya, Easy, I ain’t even pedaling on concrete

OK - I have to ask. What’s the guy doing wrong? I have about the same size boat towed by a Saturn Vue. When I hit the Teeter, I generally take up 4 spaces. If I pull straight through on two spaces it leaves my foot unit hanging out in the traffic lane. Left like that, I’m sure some idiot texting while driving will snag it and tear up their car and my motor. So, I pull a curve through 4 spaces. I generally park in the most convenient block of 4 spaces that I see. If it is close to the door, all the better. That appears to be what Mr. Parked-It-Wrong did? Is it not?
What am I missing?

Park in the back of the lot like most other people towing do. Its called being considerate of your fellow man… If you think this is OK then IMO you lack common courtesy…
So, you’d park at the back side and walk across an empty parking lot?

You eased my mind. I just took your comment about going for a camera and coming back to take a picture a little over the top.
And I do find humor in pointing out inconsiderate people. I’ve had my fair share of butt hole boaters, hunters, drivers that refuse to get back in the right lane when driving slower than the flow of traffic, … to name a couple.

The easy thing and the right thing are rarely the same…
It’s inconsiderate to do what this guy did. Park in the back of the lot.

I usually try and find two empty spaces that face each other. Pull straight through towards the back, take up two spots. Don’t park sideways like a dummy and take up 5 spots.
