Good guy.

I wanted him to write a book on his life. He only laughed and quickly changed the subject. I meet Ross for lunch awhile back. I wanted to learn more about his adventures. He was quick to turn the discussion back to my family.

getting ready to post pics. yesterday was a long day for us. wedding out of town then memorial service. I think it was more emotionally draining then physically. All i know is i dont want to lose anymore friends. Yall please take care of yourselves ok. hugzz to all

Thats what Im planning on doing, after Sunday evening have someone take the memorial out to some good bottom and lower it down. Save the numbers so Russ’s close friends can go visit him and fish.
I did this with a good friend of mine, mixed his ashes in with the concrete and made a “reef” memorial. Now anytime Im in the neighborhood I fish it and when I leave drop him a couple Bud Lights down to him. Last time I dove it corals etc were growing well on it and lots of fish.

I know it ain't much but I scrounged up about 20 cinder blocks that yall could use to sink stuff down to the bottom. Penny I never had the pleasure of meeting Russ but you make him sound like an exceptional guy. Which I'm sure he was! He will ne dearly missed by many I'm sure. To whoever mentioned it earlier I believe toobusy said that the browards started ocean kayak?

thanks but the memorial was cast in concrete itself…it won’t have any problem sinking to the bottom!
