Bite definitely slow today. Neither I nor some of the 'yakers that I saw today caught more than a few. I took home two keeper trout, threw back 4. These two will be tucked in the freezer to compliment the next slow day lol.
Bite sucked, or I suck, probably both. Caught one 14" trout.
That’s it.
Did see some guys catching fish though, just not us.

Redfish bite was definitely tougher (but good) today, but trout bite around here was nothing short of stupid. The trout have really schooled up into specific areas, and just as gotchacovered posted in IR, it is just a matter of finding them. Covering lots of water for trout is definitely the key if you are not having success.
I was rowing a canoe around and still managed to cover a lot of spots, although it was trying 10 different spots of the same kind of spot lol.
Was still a decent day to be out. Colder than I expected, no way it hit the 70 that it was forcasted. Maybe 62 where I was at.
We tried a little of everything, finally ended up trolling for the last few hours before the tide slowed and got one bite and nothing else. And that wind felt like it was coming off an iceberg!!! Never saw 70degrees and water temp was about 56 everywhere.

Trout bite was strong. had to keep moving though.
sheepshead bite was good. alot of little guys, but the fiddler never stayed down longer than 30 seconds without a bite for an hour straight.
we didn’t give the redfish much time but had a buddy borrow my other boat, they caught around b/w 30 and 40 slot and over reds sight fishing. said it was really good and his 6 year old is wore out.
good call Rad
