Blew a cylinder out on my 90hp evinrude because of water in oil tank. Tank looked full of oil and never had an alarm. Motor would idle fine but would only run out for about 300yds before shutting doen on its own. Bought a used 1988 110 johnson with the vro oil line plugged and it runs good.
Good call there Turtle, motors are replaceable. Kudos on you for your decision.

Well, I just dropped the boat off at the shop yesterday to get it looked at and see how much damage was done. Hopefully it won’t be as bad as I think it is, and hopefully I will get it back fairly soon!
Well, the motor was shot, but the good news is I will be back on the water by the weekend with a 5 year newer motor. Hopefully I can get some fishing in before I go on travel Sunday…
