Kodiak Alaska

Impressive beyond words. I would think the old adage, “Pictures don’t do it justice”, would apply here.

Amazing, thanks for sharing 23!

I’ve been blessed to see 4 continents and some incredible things, but this is still on my bucket list.

Having you on the camera makes it an extra entertaining private tour!

Snow crabs, right? So cool…

The big camera photos will come in s few days. These are just cell phone quick shots. We’ve seen humpbacks, fin whales, and a large pod of orcas. It’s been an epic trip. Plus bears and otters and all sorts of birds, eagles and puffins. We did better on the flat fish today, missed some pigs, but managed a few decent ones.

Watched a few commercials bring up salmon. Interesting to watch.

I fly home tomorrow, I’m exhausted. But man, what a trip. I’ll post the big camera photos in a few days.

If you can manage to do this trip, it’s pretty amazing.

Just WOW. Hope to get there someday

Beautiful trip! I used to fish Seward, but that was a while back. The Army has (or had) a MWR facility (moral, welfare and recreation) near Seward. We would go down for a long weekend and catch enough halibut and salmon to last six months. Looking at your fantastic trip makes me wonder if these old bones could make the trip one more time.

Thanks for the pictures and sharing the adventure with us!

Definitely post of the year. Nothing else compares.

If you go where i went, they really take care of you. Cook meals. There’s hot water and electricity. It’s a sweet set up.
They have 11 acres of private on the west side of Kodiak. It’s surrounded by protected federal wildlife land. We saw one other boat fishing besides the salmon commercials. That was it

Thanks 23! Great pictures. I hope to get there one day. Definitely a bucket list trip to rip some lips!
