I like hi-vis yellow for my king and mahi rigs with about 15 yds of clear mono topshot. They don’t care and I like to see my line if I have multiple out.
After that I like Momoi diamond in brilliant blue, 60# for the 50’s. That will catch all the other more particular biters out there… pretty much anyway.
Added to that, fish with 6 different boats and you’ll more than likely find 12 different lines and all 6 boats catching fish. I’d bet most that specifically target Tuna would be all fishing pretty much the same… Mono with maybe 10-12 feet of fluorocarbon and no braid on the boat other than the anchor line.
