i live close to Smoky Oak too and have to agree. It and home team are my favorite Q places in town. I have not been to or heard of La Tablea so ill add it to my list. Hell, I may try it out after fishing tomorrow. How is the atmosphere there? Is it somewhere i can wear featherweight LL bean khakis and a dri fit long sleeve fishing t shirt or should i shower, throw on some ironed pants and a dress shirt and call up a lady friend to join? i love Italian food.

That place is in the old piggly wiggly shopping center…now Harris teeter, on harborview road. It’s in the far corner of the shops there…closest to the exon end. Casual wear. I think they have a web site. We have been there a couple times for lunch.

I’m shocked by the number of people who think Home Team is good BBQ. Where are you guys from, California?

we’ve got a place in Columbia called “The Tilted Kilt” at least I think that’s the name. Puts hooters to shame. Waitresses in little short kilts & tied up tops. No tights or pantyhose, all real skin.
Good selection of beers, and the food is pretty good too.

Sounds about like the Flying Saucer in the vista. Went there a few years ago and it’s the real deal also. I wonder if it’s still there?

Still there, still very nice scenery and a great selection of beers. Bonzo would not appreciate it.
