Lures in your spread?

It’s tuff to pull one of everything at once. They all perform differently in certain conditions or how fast you pull them or if you have mis matched weighted lures. The bigger lures you can pull faster. Which is great on a slow day cause you can cover more ground (high speed lures for instance) if your on them then I like circle rigs. They look natural, they always hook in the corner of the mouth and it’s easy to rig and have one back in the spread which means more chances to catch a fish.

Well lets see - Wahoo like dark colors reds dark purple black cedar plugs that stay in the water- and bonita plugs close to the boat-- BFT like small feathers that are barely in the water — Mahi will bite anything… So understanding this , I’d like to have my spread set up with these in the spread!

In the keys, I’d live bait with kites and if you don’t wanna use kites slow troll live bait.

A basic setup
1 wayback 8 waves back or further
2 long corner 7 waves back
3 long corner 7 waves back
4 short corner 5 waves back
5 shorter corner 3 waves back
6 prop wash 1 to 2 waves back

1, 2, 3 any of these are good sea witch, bullet head, jet, feather, a catcher, cedar plug or daisy chain combo
4 x rap or other deep diver plug
5 pusher or something with a of bubbles and in and out action
6 yozuri Bonita.
Adjust speed and distance so your lures look good. Anywhere from 6 to 10mph depending conditions but most of the time 8 is good.
