Mixing eth and non eth??

Got some of the E-free gas at Duncan’s today. I actually noticed my motor running more smoothly when I got home and flushed it today. I didn’t notice a difference when I was running on the water, but I could hear it when it was out. I can say from experience with my lawn mower and weed whacker that the E-gas is horrible stuff.

The water level drops with e-gas. Reason being alcohol will mix with water (wiskey & water) as well as gasoline (the old product called dry gas used to remove water in a fuel system was a form of alcohol) so the water gets sucked up by the e-gas. Try it sometime, it is an interesting work bench experiment.

I believe it is ETBE. Probably just as bad as MTBE, but it just hasn’t been in the media like MTBE
