I am not sure if Bimini Bay has finished their marina or not. I did not notice it while I was there. We stayed at a house on south Bimini and fueled up at Bimini Sands. The Sands was a really nice setup with the condo’s and dockage right out front. If several local people were interested in making the crossing, that would be a great place to stay and maybe have a mini tournament sometime.

I was not a bad ride at all. It took ~2hrs going in 3-5s and ~1.5 hrs on the return. I believe it was 47 miles from the cut in Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini Sands. The most interesting thing about the ride was the current in the stream. It was STRONG… I had to constantley fight to keep us on our heading when we were in the middle of it.
