</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>Sort of like the flares I looked at a few weeks ago that expire in less than a year. Besides their overly-inflated prices, that’s another reason I dislike shopping there. But they do have some cool nautical plates, cups and even bamboo skewers for your shishkabobs.
Yikes! Mine are plastic pins too… from West Marine.
BTW, west marine price matches even to internet prices. I paid $115 for the SmartTabs plus got a $10 gas card.

I found the company to be very stand up, and take reponsibility for their product as you have, but…
I would at the least seal up those boots up with some 5200 and maybe shoot some marine grease in there to coat those cylinders. There is no way a wire tie is going to keep water out of those boots.
Agreed! ^^
I am going to do that for sure!

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>Thanks for the tip and I put it to use on Sat. WM wanted $17.49/each for an OMC Trim Relay by Sierra, Boatfix.com and Wholesalemarine.com priced them at $11.46 and $11.22 respectively. WM honored the lowest price, but I still stand by my comment about their overly-inflated prices as evidenced by the above.
Update: Received the new parts today. The new hardware is not metal, its still nylon. The only difference I can see is that the hardware where the tab connects to the hinge is no longer a pin, it is now a bolt. I’ll call them to make sure its right. Still pleased with the responsiveness.
