I will be needing to replace the transom in this boat soon if I upgrade to a 15hp. It’s just a mere 4" wide stretcher going across the back.
It does have a fairly sturdy angled aluminum bracket in the middle, riveted in, but I really want a full transom. I’ll post pics of it soon.
I happen to have some 3/4" Starboard available to me, I may be able to get enough of it to double up and make a 1.5" thick transom. Would be nice if I could but man would that be heavy.
