Some PL-19 corrosion block would be a good start. I know the guy that sells the product. It’s an expensive item but so is your trailer.
After being released, a lot of fish die, but a lot of them live also.
I very thoroughly power wash my trailer from all angles after every dip, but that’s only after I get home the 5’ away from the launch. So the trailer sits festering in salt dip for however long I’m on the water, and various hardware is rusty as hell. This was my first salt rig so I had no reference for the degree of rust w.the above approach; with my next, new, trailer I will be rinsing the wheels, leafs, brakes, and other hardware immediately after launch even if it means carrying 5gal fresh water in the truck.
Give up and rebuild your trailer every three-four years like I do…

Simply, rinse it very thoroughly. I spend a significant amount of time flushing my trailer after each trip. It will lengthen the life of your trailer significantly
