Oh my goodness…I feel as if I was just punched in the gut . This is so very very sad. Eric was always so nice to talk to. My heart hurts . My prayers go out to his wife ,family and friends…and to all of those who knew him and like me mourn for his loss.

Such tragic news. It’s funny how over the internet you can have impressions of people without ever having met them. My impression of Eryc, without ever having met him, was that he was an intelligent young man who could let you know when he disagreed with your opinion, yet still leave you with the feeling that he respected your right to that opinion. In other words, my internet impression of Eryc was that he was a fine young southern gentleman.
My condolences go out to those who really knew him, for I know they are suffering a terrible loss.

What a good guy. He hunted with my son and I a lot. Very patient with my son. I will always be grateful to him for helping me teach my son to duck hunt. Sad.

Wow, that’s terrible news.

Met him once in Augusta when I was getting out of my truck at Kyoto’s. He saw the RFA sticker on my truck and just walked up and we got talking about saltwater and CF.com. Just like he never met a stranger.
