I actually bought a snowmobile(sled, as they call them) in 2000. AFAIK, I’m the only one in SC that’s ever owned one.
Trying to get insurance was a nightmare.
Everyone i called said, “You want to insure a WHAT?”

Wife got stuck in Baltimore last weekend. They had 12-16" snow and temps in the teens and below. She despises being cold. Anything below 70 and she’s breaking out jammies and sweatshirts. This is last Sunday morning at 9, when it started.
New grandson, Jack, was amused.

Kidding, of course. I do remember a time, 50+ years ago, when this was a gourmet dinner.
I’m ok, really. I have peanut butter, catfood and frozen mullet. Country boy can survive.
