Prolly should clear up a few details. I told my boss I needed a break for a while. I am pretty good financially, but I enjoy working. I’ll go back at some point. I’d get too bored, and the finances are pretty sound… But, I have always been a guy who wants to be productive. I reached a tipping point where I would like to try something else for a while. My plans are to take 6-12 months and put everything into perspective. My daughter will be going to highschool next year, and the impetus behind me wanting to take a breather is to spend some quality time with her and my Wife this summer… I am just very fortunate to be in position to do so… And yes, I invested pretty well, but I saved and lived way below our means, and avoided debt like the plague…
