I use cheap all-purpose flour & meal 50-50. Works great…lasts, cleaner than any clay and cheaper then bait binder. More for the shrimp to eat!

I did a comparison Sat night between shrimpers choice premix and bait binder, the bait binder works better while using much less bait on the pole.

I did some looking around and fond a few ways to mix bait. I fond the more protein you can get into the bait the batter. for me its 50%meal, 5%milk,40% AP flour,5%corn meal for me. I use only two poles b/c i shrimp off the bank i put 4 ball about baseball size between the polls. and it takes me about 10 cast with a 6ft in about 3-4 hours to full the cooler haft way. I never take the limit only what I need.
