Some of the roof racks work really well but I am an old weak guy and use the trailer - with two people yes a roof rack is the way to go but I go out alone quite a bit

Pretty sweet little trailer. What do those run?

The collapsible tongue option is pretty nice on the Malone.

where can I get one of those bed extenders…?

Harbor Freight has them as do a few online sites. I got mine through Amazon as S/H was free.

I have a set of these Thule racks on top of my truck.

I went with these because they were one of the few that would mount right on a factory cross bar with out having to buy other parts too. They work well for me.

But I am also keeping an eye out for a little tiny boat trailer to turn into a kayak trailer as well. I dont like the salt on my truck and with my back being pretty weak, a trailer would be a good idea. I have a nice little utility trailer that I was thinking of making a quick disconnect rack system for but I would rather just have a nice and light traier dedicated for the kayaks and loaded all the time so if I get the chance to go, all I have to do is hook up and haul tail.
