Yeah, they say I do not smile enough. When I get the grand slam of bottom fishing you may see a smile on my face or a full season of booked charters would probably do it too. I know guys who do not post here who can almost always get a limit of what ever they target when they fish. That is my goal. Until then I grind on.

first go to store and purchase an anchor. second by chain and then re buy the same amount u need lots for this kind of fishing. third buy more chain. fourth buy atleast 250ft of rope or even more depending where u plan on fishing. fifth put it all together with anchor then chain then rope. sixth go fishing use your common senses to guess which way the boat is going to drip and attempt to anchor. seventh sense u were probably wrong on number six look at compass (thats the little thingie that says N W S E on it) and make the corrections based on further calculations. pro-tip either add 180 on subtract 180 depending on how you sit. enjoy. you are welcome thank me later. u know where i live toss a black fish in my bote if these pointers work. best of luck

Edisto, the same thing happened with us. The 'ole Chicken Rig caught the BIG FISH.
Chicken rigs should be banned by NMFS. They catch too many fish.
Next time I place the boat in the sand and will see how those chicken rigs work on sand bass and sand tiles:face_with_head_bandage:.

Could you please come and show me this technique. I was told that you could drift and catch fish. I wonder how many fish I would catch if I could do what you said.

its all in the anchor if you can piece it all together, drifting is fun your pitching at those blue and green mowie things. bout it tho. also other fun things to do when drifting 1. drink 2. sit out side shem creek and watch num nums hit the sandbar, or any other sand bar for that matter 3. call on the radio bc your sol 4. try to convince a heavily served broad what she probably will regret doing but hopefully does so anyhow. Any other suggestions for fun drifting would be highly appreciated
