I wouldn’t think it’s 2 miles up to that point. Either way, I’m just jealous that she caught a red up there. I’ve been fishing that area the last 3 years on vacations and never caught a thing. I guess I’m not thinking about the “big picture”.
Whats the best way to rig a red for a shark? Hook through the spot?

“Good things come to those who bait”
I have watched many people wade across that inlet at low tide. Never imagined a bull like that in there.
Ok, I have a theory about this clip. I have watched it more times than I’d like to admit, but it is pretty entertaining and its interesting to see the story spread virally around the globe.
–At 1:29, the camera man says “we know what got your thing earlier” - this obviously means a break off previously occurred.
–At :38 seconds, the net man “says you got another line” - you can kinda see where the additional line is interfering.
–At 1:35, the net man says again “Bobby, there’s your line” - he’s got two rigs at that point.
Theory:
Due to the earlier breakoff, the shark was swimming around in the area still with the hook and line hanging out of its mouth. When she was reeling in the red, it snagged that line and started putting pressure on the shark’s mouth which caused it to attack the fish like that. I think the shark was provoked some due to the fishing lines catching together. I know sharks CAN attack like that, but the only odd thing about the video is the other line. Thoughts? We’ll call this CSI Myrtle Beach CF.com style!!
I thought the “other line” in question was in the reds mouth. but the weird thing is they brought up both lines at the end of the video. so who know.
I’ve seen on river monsters show that bulls will often wait around boats and docks for fisherman to bring in an easy meal. This was several episodes in different locations around the globe.
As far as the second line goes, a lot of possibilities there.
on the chase- I couldn’t hear anything after about :46 as my ears started bleeding from the high pitched shrieks

I don’t think they monetized it. Shame too; it’s approaching a $50k value based on hits so far and will probably break 7million hits before it slows down.

How does youtube get to put adds on your video if you don’t make anything off of it. I would pull it off until someone paid me, but might be too late now.
I don’t see any ads on it. AS far as YouTube putting ads though, it’s in their terms of service that no one reads when they take out an account. Unless you set up for monetizing, they get all the revenue.
