now you have to give us a report!

hey 84tiger, look at me. i didn’t use the airbrush tool to keep you away from my driveway, figured you’d appreciate it.

Yeah I simplified it a bit. Sometimes i still beef it up but doesn't really make a difference so I just use the redfish stuff. On a side note, I see you at folly boat ramp occasionlly and towing your boat around JI alot, particularly past the high school. We need to fish sometime

your the awesomest!

and…

I’m far from an expert but I’ve had luck using braid, the lightest weight, clams strips, or a little piece of shrimp using a drop shot rig. Drop it by the structure, jig lightly and pay attention. I’m use to fishing the lakes in the upstate (Hartwell, Keowee) in 80-100 feet of water using an 1/8 oz weight for large mouth in the winter months. It’s worked great on sheeps for me. Slow down and take your time.

policy? To be a douche bag? If you didn’t take out people because they have their own means of transportation on the water you wouldn’t be in business very long…and yes fishing was great

We had an ok day we went out to the train tressle and only caught one sheepshead and three small reds and lots of pinfish and pufferfish. I think the current was a little to strong for sheepshead because they just weren’t biting although hopefully we will be able to try again this weekend.

so most guides you know get paid to go out on other people’s boats? if then why didn’t you just ask somebody else?

I, like Bonzo, find this a little odd. I am not sure as a guide that I would want to take other people fishing on their boats. As the Captain for hire I would assume you would be responsible for people’s safety etc. Kind of hard to control some of these variables fishing on someone else’s boat that you are not familiar with. I am also not sure how their insurance and other aspects are effected by this. Back to the topic at hand. Fishguy keep working on them and you will get the hang of it. You have received some good advice. I would also recommend trying some live shrimp for those sheepshead once the water temperature gets down. You have to wait for all of the bait steelers to dissappear. I found live shrimp to be a little easier when first learning. Good luck and keep us posted on how you do.
