Haven’t had much luck yet in the salt water because I haven’t tried it enough and can’t get in the flats very well in my deep-v. Going down to Florida next year to hopefully add bonefish, redfish, and maybe shark of some kind and anything else that will bite! Only been throwing the fly for a couple of years but I enjoy it much more than traditional fishing. Had a chance on a guided trip for a nice red in Charleston on a guided trip when I had just started learning to fly fish but when I couldn’t get the fly in the perfect spot my guide kindly suggested that I throw the crab chunk on the spinning real out in front of him instead. Caught the red and relieved the guide since we hadn’t had much luck yet!
