I feed the hook into the open mouth and up through the hard spot between the nostrils.

Thanks guys! I’ve been hooking thru the lips and always ended up with a dead bait too quickly. I’ll try Monday or Tuesday(or maybe Monday AND Tuesday) and see what happens. I’ll take pics if I do any catching.
