Doubt it’s illegal, as long as you abide by the size and bag limits.
Has the water been tested? If said golf course is polluting the water, aren’t you just putting fish back in bad water?

Water quality is fine so blaming the nearby golf course is nothing short of speculation! I have been known to catch a few fish off of my dock in the river and toss them in the pond. Growing up here in this tidal creek I have fond memories of walking a seine in 3’ water on low tide just to explore the plethora of fish, shrimp and crabs in the net. Guess my initial point was that the hour or so of inflow on high tide over the spillway used to stock the pond just fine and over the last few years that has changed. I seed oysters around the dock and enjoy some of the best you will ever taste so that is another indicator of good water quality. As a senior citizen I was looking for a way to stock my pond the same way I catch my shrimp. One swipe of the card! Really appreciate all the input.
